About PHREI
PHREI is a nonprofit health research institute in Hawaii providing the State with the needed technical and administrative infrastructure to successfully obtain and conduct health research and education programs. PHREI research is uniquely enabled by its central Pacific Rim location and access to multi-generational, ethnically diverse island populations.
PHREI's research staff are made up of men and women from various backgrounds and disciplines. We all share the common goal of improving the health and well-being of veterans and the population in general through our research.
MISSION: PHREI conducts health research and education that improves the health and well-being of veterans and all people in Hawaii, central California, the Pacific region, and throughout the U.S.
