Jane Uyehara-Lock, M.D.

Jane Uyehara-LockDr. Uyehara-Lock is a neuropathologist and PHREI Investigator on projects regarding aging and dementia and Risk Factors for Pathologic Markers of Parkinson’s Disease. She is laboratory director and Principal Investigator for the Pathology Research Laboratory at Leahi Hospital, where gross brain analysis and histology work takes place.    

Dr. Uyehara-Lock received her B.A. in Chemistry and Biology and her M.S. in Physiology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and an M.D. from the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. Her postgraduate training includes residency in General Surgery and pre-residency fellowship in Neurological Surgery. She is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and neuropathology.

Dr. Uyehara-Lock is an Assistant Professor at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns school of Medicine. She also has a pathology clinical practice at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center at Moanalua and provides neuropathology consultative services for Tripler Army Medical Center.
