Dr. Kelsey Shikuma Lee is a staff Endocrinologist at the VA Pacific Islands Health Care System. She is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine/Endocrinology at the University of Hawaii. Dr. Shikuma Lee has worked closely with Dr. Helen Petrovitch on diabetes studies and clinical trials and is the Principal Investigator on The Effect of Tirzepatide versus Dulaglutide on major adverse cardiovascular events in patients with Type 2 Diabetes (SURPASS-CVOT).

Dr. Shikuma Lee received her Doctor of Medicine from the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii. She was a Clinical Fellow and Chief Resident at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California. She is also a speaker and instructor in endocrinology.
