PHREI is currently looking to fill the following position(s):

 

 

Research Assistant

Assist with basic data organization, processing, analyses, presentations and publications as related to aging research.


Duties of this position include (but are not limited to): compile and document data files for statistical analyses, data entry/verification, document preparation for grant, IRB and VA review submissions, assist in creation, review and completion of draft manuscripts for journal submission and contribute with the Principle Investigator and other researchers in planning coordinating and carrying out statistical analysis.

Requirements: must be detail oriented with ability to contribute productively in a team environment as well as working independently effectively. Requires training and/or experience and understanding of basic scientific methodology, data management, and be familiar with medical, statistical and epidemiologic terminology. Experience with word processing, publishing & presentation software, database and spreadsheet programs. Experience with SAS and R statistical analysis software systems  is very highly desirable.
