Dr. Yokochi is a Principal Investigator on the Prostate, Lung, Colorectal and Ovarian Cancer Screening Trial (PLCO) and the National Lung Screening Trial (NLST). He currently oversees the follow up activities at PHREI under the centralized data collection study.  He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. Dr. Yokochi is a Certified Independent Medical Examiner, Certified Medical Review Officer, and a Board Certified Diplomat in Internal Medicine. He also maintains an active private practice in occupational medicine.

Dr. Yokochi received his M.P.H. in Environmental Health from the University of Hawaii School of Public Health, and his M.D. from University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine.
